I’m a physiotherapist first, and every day in clinic I see the same thing: the people who recover well, and who stay well, are the ones who keep moving.

That’s why I built Olive, a place where treatment and movement live under one roof, so you can see a physio on Monday and be back on the reformer by Tuesday with the same clinical thinking guiding both.

I believe the body works as one connected system, so a sore lower back is rarely just about the back, because your hips, feet, breath, and even the way you sit at your desk all play a part. I look at the whole picture when I treat you, and I design every class on our timetable with that same approach in mind.

With two studios offering Reformer, Wunda Chair, Mat, Strength Training and physiotherapy, Olive brings everything together under one simple philosophy of helping you move well for life.

About Olive Physiotherapy

I’m a physiotherapist with a special interest in musculoskeletal and women’s health, a Pilates instructor, and the founder of Olive Studio, which I opened in Kiama in December 2022, just two weeks before Christmas.

I grew up in Wagga Wagga, and when I moved to Kiama I couldn’t find anywhere in town to do group reformer Pilates, so I decided that if it didn’t exist yet, I would build it myself.

The whole studio came together in about five weeks while I was still working full-time as a physiotherapist, with my husband, a builder, helping me fit out our first space on Tingira Crescent beside the Little Blowhole, where we opened with 20 classes on the timetable.

Our community grew faster than I ever imagined, and Olive is now two studios offering Reformer, Wunda Chair, Mat, and Strength classes, with my physiotherapy practice right alongside them so that treatment and movement can finally live under one roof.

I’m passionate about movement for everyone, and I’ve always wanted Olive to feel truly inclusive across every age, gender and fitness level, whether you’re brand new to Pilates, returning to exercise after having a baby, or training at an elite level.

I also believe Pilates is essential conditioning for athletes, something I’ve seen first-hand through my work in elite sport, including with an AFL player whose club gym now has a full reformer room of its own.
